Acrylic is an attractive material with a wide range of uses. Very high optical quality, guaranteed UV stable for 10 years (Perspex).
Acrylic sheet is supplied in sizes up to 3000mm x 2000mm. Clear is available in the following thicknesses : 0.2, 0.5, 0.8, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50mm - thicker block is available on request.
Coloured acrylic is available in 3mm and 5mm with a few colours available in 10mm thickness.
Also available as hollow tube or solid rod.
Surface finishes available are gloss or frosted. Some extruded patterned sheets are also available,
Unlike other laser systems, the system used by Zone Creations can cut ABS and styrene up to 6mm in thickness. Perfect for architectural model floor plates and specialist components.
PETG sheet has very good impact resistance properties and is approved for food contact applications. PETG offers extreme clarity and good light transmission. Zone Creations can laser cut PETG up to a thickness of 6mm, with a good polished edge.
Clear Polycarbonate is available in 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12mm as standard (thicker is available)
Opal Polycarbonate is available in 3, 5, 6, 8 and 10mm

Zone creations use a wide variety of timbers both on their own or by combining this natural material with a more modern substrate. In the past we have created beautiful inlays combining Perspex and Timber to give a high quality finish. Laser etching into wood gives an attractive burnt effect. We can machine both solid plank or veneers.
Dibond / Alu-panel is the only metal we will machine at Zone Creations. This material is a laminate of thin aluminium sandwiching a plastic centre. It can be used for internal and external applications including signage backing, graphic displays, cladding or folded constructions. By machining part way through the material we can form 3d displays without any need for adhesives or fixings. Dibond is available in a sheet size of 2440 x 1220mm and in thicknesses of 3 and 4mm. Finishes available are white, silver, primary colours and mirror.
Available in a wide range of colours, thicknesses and densities. Zone Creations can laser cut PL foam leaving a clean sealed edge. Available in sheet sizes of 2m x 1m. Leather is a great material to work with when using lasers. Highly detailed patterns can be laser cut and etched into the material. When laser etching leather the material is burnt giving a branded appearance. This looks best on lighter leathers, giving greater contrast between the natural material and burnt colour.
Zone Creations machine a wide variety of engineering plastics including Nylon, Delrin, carbon fibre, rubber, polypropylene and acetyl. Our team can help advise on suitable materials for specific applications.
MDF sheet is available in either 8’ x 4’ or 10’ x 5’ and in a variety of thicknesses. The standard thicknesses are 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 and 25mm. It is available up to 38mm.
Dependent on the required component Zone Creations will either laser cut or CNC router the material.
