Laser engraving pieces can be sized up to 700mm x 420mm and, using vector and raster-engraving methods, we are able to mark materials with images, logos and fonts to varying recessed depths. This laser system is very flexible and most file formats can be used to engrave. The effect achieved can be a combination of vector lines, engraved areas and even greyscale imaging.
Most acrylic materials will leave a white effect when laser etched and timber will darken giving a ‘branded’ appearance - leather has a similar reaction.
If supplying files in a ready-to-use format, a Corel Draw file is ideal. Black/greyscale should be used for engraved areas and red vector lines (of hairline thickness) for cutting/vector scoring. If supplying us with fonts, it is best to either send us the TTF font package or save text as outlines.
